Not sure about my expression here, with my lips....but one of the things Harry stresses with our horses is that they are PRESENT and with us. One of the simplest ways to check in with them is to run your hand down their forehead, it is real easy to see/feel if they are with you, or not, or somewhere else. Horses can "go inside" themselves pretty easily and that is not a place you want them to be.
The second photo was me having Spirit canter on the line while touching him with the flag. I was pleased with how he did.
